How To Help A Broken Heart | Overcome a new one

Build your confidence

Breakups contribute to your confidence. One or both of you may be to blame for the breakup, but a breakup is never about one person!

Take a moment to listen to your own conversation and make improvements. Notice where you are talking to yourself and then ask yourself what would you say to my best friend? You have to tell yourself that too. We are always much harder on ourselves than on others.

Go out and take some risks. Do something that scares you. Try something new! These types of activities also help increase your confidence.

Get back to the game as soon as possible

This is difficult, I know. But to help a broken heart, you also need to move it. Once your confidence has increased, work to create your profile online. Look at potential guys and read their profiles. Maybe go to a wine tasting or a charity event with a friend.

Then, make dating a little easier. At first you’ll compare all the guys to John and that’s okay. Just remember all the things you wrote on your list – the things that bother you about your ex.

How To Help A Broken Heart With A Diary

Writing helps you process your pain and overcome your pain. Write every day about what happened and why. Write down how you feel and what you can do better in the future. Let the words flow naturally and look where they are taking you. Surprising revelations can come from allowing your thoughts and feelings to come out in a diary.

Don’t be critical of yourself and don’t blame yourself. You will find that your feelings will turn up and down. You will go through the nine stages of mourning.

You’ll soon feel better, but keep writing down a diary and start setting goals for the future. What will your next man look like? How will it work? Where will you meet him. This sets the stage for your bright future!

Laughter and Dancing

This is my personal care! I’ve made a pact with myself to go crazy when I’m down and out. I turn on my favorite songs and dance around my living room. Then laugh. I don’t want to listen to music and I don’t want to dance, but I do it myself. It’s a game changer. It works every time.

Exercise as hard as you can

Another of my favorites is a good workout. Get angry during training. Go to CrossFit. Running on the beach. Bet on the shit of a punching bag with John’s face fixed. This produces something called a runner substance, as it sends chemicals through your body. These chemicals, or endorphins, make you feel good.
