This is a great example of how the mindset slows down many men. It’s a way of thinking, not an appearance, that keeps most guys from having the kind of dating they want.
Part of the problem is not understanding what women find attractive. Men judge women by their looks and think that women are attracted to men in the same way.
Women don’t find men attractive in the same way we find them. Because? Men and women are not the same.
Women are not just men with different parts. We have many similarities but we have big differences in our way of thinking. The kind of things we want to come from very different perspectives.
The kind of dating strategies that work for women will not work for men. And vice versa.
And it is not that appearance does not matter at all because appearance does have an effect. It can be useful for a first impression and, in the long run, for maintaining attraction.
But it is not the main thing women are looking for, and it is more of an advantage than a requirement. You could be an ugly man who suppurates confidence and has more dates than the prettiest guy who doesn’t believe in himself.

I’ve seen it many times with coaching clients. I’ve had clients you’d look at and think about before: “This guy will never date sexy women.”
For example One of my old clients, a middle-aged Chinese, short, with a little belly, a strong accent, and a little dress.
It didn’t have any of the features you’d think a man would need to date sexy women.
It took a few months, but her confidence began to increase and she learned to open conversations with women in public.
As his confidence grew, he began dating young, attractive women. And this is just one example. There are tons out there. I see it all the time.
How can I be more attractive?
There are a few things you can do to improve your overall confidence, such as working on your appearance. When we take care of ourselves, it makes a difference in our confidence.
It makes us feel better and makes us feel more attractive to others. And that feeling of being more attractive is projected onto other people in the form of confidence.
Fitness to improve the appearance
No one will feel good about being overweight or underweight. And “skinny fat” or “father’s body” is a terrible thing for men.
Go to the gym and work on your diet. If you don’t know what to do with your diet, talk to a nutritionist.
Exercise will also increase your testosterone, and this will increase your energy and muscle mass. It is also essential as a man and probably affects the way women are attracted to us.
Men’s style to look more attractive
As men, we don’t need fancy dress. Just bring something that fits. Thick clothes just hide your shape. Maybe you’re hiding your form because you don’t feel very safe, in which case go back to the gym.
The most important things to keep in mind are:
- Good and clean shoes. Do not wear running shoes unless you are running. Some street shoes for a casual look usually go well with most clothes.
- Properly fitted clothes. Wide clothes look like garbage bags (with exceptions). To most men it looks sloppy, so keep on wearing clothes that show off your shape without being too tight.
- Hygiene: Always shave, trim and keep your hair in good condition.
A man who keeps himself will feel more secure.
If you don’t know what to wear, ask for someone’s opinion. Talk to an attractive girl whose opinion you trust and start learning what you think is right for you.
Posture for confidence and attracting women
Posture has a big effect on how others see you and how you feel about yourself.
Poor posture will make you feel a lack of confidence because you are sending signals to your brain about your “mood”. It is a physical expression of what goes on inside a man’s head.
Some signs of poor posture include:
- Hands in pockets
- Looking at the ground
- The shoulders rolled forward
- Neck tilted forward
After years of bad posture, your muscles will be weak. It will take time to correct these habits. Some exercises will help you do it in the gym.
To improve your posture and look more attractive:
- Keep your hands out of your pockets
- Keep your head up and your eyes facing forward
- Pull your shoulders back and your chest forward
- Keep your neck straight
- Take full breaths and avoid shallow breathing
Change your mindset to feel better about yourself
Stop telling yourself you’re ugly.
If you always tell yourself that you are ugly, unattractive, or too normal, you will only reinforce these ideas.
Everything you tell yourself moment by moment will be your reality. It’s brainwashing in the worst way.
But it is not enough to stop telling you negative things. It needs to be replaced with something more positive.
Look for a phrase or statement to replace “I’m ugly” or “I’m too normal.” Something that resonates with you.
It is brainwashing in a positive way to reverse negative thinking habits.
Talk to women to build trust
One of the best things you can do to be confident is to talk to women.
Unless you create your own experience in this area, you will never feel socially secure.
