A customer’s problems with dating

When I talk about how easy it is to write a profile about yourself, I think of my client Joanne who started with me last summer. I wasn’t getting the quality of the answers or the quantity and I couldn’t understand why not.

He wanted to send me his profile and analyze what was not working, I told him no. I would formulate my own ideas about it from our zoom call and the customer profile form I had filled out. Then write down your dating profile, choose the right place / app and review all your photos, and more. My normal.

(Of course, we deviated a bit, as he insisted on posting his current profile that he didn’t attract the kind of men he wanted and appeared in my inbox seconds after end our zoom call, even though I didn’t intentionally read it until I went through my previous process!)

A little about Joanne — 55 years old, beautiful, life coach in great shape, a lot of personality and very direct!

Here’s a little of what I posted (I couldn’t share the rest with you !!!) before working with me on Match:

She started with: I am looking for a man in great shape, healthy, without facial hair. It should work and look great. No problems or emotional baggage. There are no children at home. Without complaining. No negativity …

Wow, sure you can spot the problems here!

So what do you think? I saw the problems immediately. If you were a man, would you keep reading this? If you were a woman reading this from a man, what would you do?

I’ll tell you what I would do as your dating coach; I would tell you to stop reading and press the Delete / Lock button as soon as possible!

I had liked Joanne immediately on Zoom’s call, but when I read this … all I saw was negativity. And she expresses herself in what she did NOT want in the face of the positives.

Okay, the best thing about every birthday we make is that we are one year older and wiser. Yes, we know what we do NOT want. But isn’t the other side that we know what we want?

The irony was that Joanne was so positive about Zoom’s call, and that only goes back to my 25 years of dating experience and once again, noting that most people have no idea how to write. about itself, basically, you are being marketed and this is difficult for most people. (People who follow me think about my story about my best-selling NYT bestselling client … and what he wrote about himself! good advantage!).

So how about going back to Joanne?

. In my professional life, I am an entrepreneur in the welfare business; I enjoy helping my clients live healthier, more active lifestyles. So what am I looking for? I’m usually ready for anything outdoors, and a man who enjoys hiking, is clean and sporty, enjoys adventure trips (hiking in Whistler or Mount Rainier and making our own fires in a cabin). mountain, anyone?) A positive outlook even with a storm in the mountains and laughter in the rain …….

This is just a piece of your profile. Didn’t we get the same points that Joanne originally conveyed through her original profile? And we didn’t say there was no hair on our faces or that we had to work, did we?

So what happened to Joanne? He now has a serious relationship and a professional profile. She was shocked by the number of responses and the quality men she met.

This could be you! Let me help you — all you need is a short 5-10 minute phone call with me and I’ll let you know if I can help and I’m the right person for you.

For me, I love the happy ending and I love my clients. I’m always excited about our weekly calls to find out how your dates have gone.

Last weekend was great when a new client told me their second date lasted 8 hours; no, that’s not it! They met at Chicago’s Navy Pier for lunch, ended up walking around the Loop for hours chatting, and then ended up on Rush Street for dinner. I can’t wait to see how Ryan’s date went this weekend!

Love and laughter
